ReplyDeleteDo you capitalize each line beginning intentionally? That's a question I always ask my students because so many of them use Word which often automatically capitalizes upon return.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I dig the thoughtful employment of mechanics in poetry; it guides me as a reader by illuminating meaning logically.
I am digging the syntax of this poem!
I do capitalize on purpose. It seems like that's what they do in all the poetry books I've read in the past I just thought that's what you were supposed to do in poetry.
ReplyDeleteI do agree poetry is a wonderful thing. It can be used to explain so many things in a way not expressed in rigid writing.
