For this is now
The day of dismay,
The world takes
Me away,
To places of hate,
To abodes of bane,
All is lost here
And seems forever
Broken in silence,
Please,
Give me a path,
A path for goodness
And all light,
For the cherished
Hearts of children
Are the importance
For humanities hand.
