Dark Ways

The way seems dark and covered in hardship,
This road towards the light seems shattered
And twisted in every sense of the word.

Please take this darkness from my soul,
It is far more than my meek heart can bear
My heart is weaker now and I am unable to fight.

Give me a safe path towards the light please,
Send forth a way for my weak heart and soul
Please send me a guardian to help me through life.

Yes I cry for help and forgiveness please help me,
This hardship of the dark is too strong for me alone
All by myself I feel I feel helpless give me mercy!
