I feel now the exposure of wind
Against my frail body weak,
The winter seems evermore
Stronger yet stronger every day.

I may have soon lost all hope
If not for the goddess standing near,
Yes a goddess near my face
And thoughts so personal knowing.

For this goddess of affections day
Gave me the calling to embracing,
This immortal angel lifts my heart
To the stars every night and day!
